Breaking Down Pax's New Pricing Options
About a year ago now, Pax brought out their latest model, The Pax 3, which has since dominated the portable conduction market. However, all good things must come to an end, and like all vaporizers, the Pax started to drop in sale. This is completely normal, especially for top-market, luxury products like this, but Pax wanted to keep themselves updated and relevant and came up with a plan.
Pax split their basic vape package into two separate kits. Essentially, the Complete Kit now offers a lot more, but manages to stay at the same price as the old Pax 3 kit, while the Device Only kit contains far less accessories but comes in at an astonishingly slashed price. If you’ve ever considered a Pax 3 for your next model of vaporizer, this is the perfect chance.
Let’s first break down what it is you’re going to find in each kit:
The Complete Kit:
The Complete kit is where you’re going to get everything the old pax had to offer, but with a good few extras. You’re going to get The Pax 3 itself, along with a maintenance kit and a charger. It also comes with 2 different kinds of mouthpieces as well as a standard oven lid. That’s what comes as standard when you buy any of The Pax 3 kits, but again, this is the complete kit we’re talking about here, so of course there is going to be a lot more. In the complete kit, you also get 3 extra screens as well as a protective pouch to carry your pax and all your accessories in, and trust me, with the complete kit, you’re going to have a lot of accessories because it also comes with a concentrates jar, a half-pack oven lid as well as a multi-tool. This is a hell of a lot more than what Pax were originally offering, and what’s even better is that all of this comes at pretty much the same price as the older pax kit had, meaning you're getting a whole lot more bang for your buck. The complete kit also comes with a full 10 year warranty on your vape.
The Device-Only Kit:
With the device only kit, you’re pretty much only getting the first few things mentioned in the complete kit, namely The Pax 3 itself as well as the charger, maintenance kit as well as the mouthpieces. You will also receive the 10 year warranty. The device only kit might have pretty much the vape itself, but the price has been slashed to compensate for this, so if you’re looking for top market quality but on a budget, this might be the vape for you.
Why Buy The Complete Kit:
The major benefit of the complete kit is receiving all of Pax’s best accessories within one product. The Pax has the ability to be an incredibly adaptable model, but it’s not necessary, but with these accessories, you can take your Pax game to the next level. With everything you’ve been given with this kit, you can vape concentrates just as easily as you could vape your dry herbs. What’s more, for a quick session you can just only half fill the concentrate jar, but for Dry Herbs it’s a little more complicated as an improperly packed bowl can harm the air flow.
Why Buy The Device Only Kit:
If all you’re looking for is a sturdy portable vape in which to vape dry herbs and nothing more, than maybe the Device Only kit is for you. Everything still works perfectly, it’s just you don’t get as much, and with this kind of massive reduction in the price, you really can’t ignore it as an option if you’re just looking for a simple vape.
Which Kit Is Right For You:
That’s a difficult question to plainly answer. If you’re only vaping dry herbs, the Device Only kit seems like it would work for you. The only issue with buying the Pax 3 Device Only Kit is that, if you’re only a vaper of Dry Herbs, you won’t have access to the half-pack chamber lid unless you buy it separately. The half-pack chamber lid has gone down really well since it was introduced for its ability to grant casual, on-the-go vapers a small bowl. Larger bowls mean their only options on their vape is a poorly packed, thinly vaped bowl or a larger bowl that borders on a full session, which isn’t ideal if you’re secretly vaping. You could, however, buy the Device Kit separately and then buy all of the accessories you want, which will still more than likely come under the price of the Pax 3 Complete Kit. That way you could pick and choose some of the pieces you want and still probably save some money in the process.
That said, if you want absolutely everything The Pax 3 has to offer and have the money for the regular Pax 3 kit anyway, you should definitely consider the Pax 3 Complete Kit. The adaptability that comes with it is just fantastic and if you want several vaping options to fit right into your pocket, this is the perfect model.
